In San Pietro in Cariano, in the area that is the heart of classic Amarone production, is the new Cantina Aneri.
It was November 1997 when he founded his winery, entrusting his hopes for success to a product, prosecco, which, he has always said, “is an Italian wine par excellence, a product that everyone envies us because it is born in a delimited area, near Venice, and has no equal in the world.” When hopes became certainty, success was also consolidated through do-it-yourself marketing, Giancarlo Aneri expanded the range, but always remained true to his credo: production of great quality, even if limited. Over the years, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Prosecco Biological Leone and above all, Amarone were thus born.
